CICF Announces Matching Grant to ‘Keep Ann Dancing’

Central Indiana Community Foundation has announced it will match all donations for the next $25,000 raised for the Keep Ann Dancing campaign. The matching opportunity begins Saturday and runs through the last day of the crowdfunding campaign June 29. 

The campaign, first announced in May, will culminate June 29 with a free Keep Ann Dancing Dance Party from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the Cultural Trail at Mass Ave, Vermont and Alabama Streets. Donations will be accepted at the party and will be the last public opportunity to give for the campaign. 

“We are grateful and excited to have this matching opportunity from CICF in the last week of the Keep Ann Dancing campaign.” said Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. Executive Director, Kären Haley. “We are proud to continue their legacy of providing opportunities for everyone in our community to experience high quality public art, like Ann Dancing by Julian Opie on the Cultural Trail. Ann is such a public figure in our community and we want the challenge the community to help us Keep Ann Dancing.” 

So far, the campaign has raised 52 percent of its goal.
